Wow. Major snowfall going on here. It's pitch dark outside, but everything still looks oddly bright because of the snow.

My tooth work is now all done - I hope so, anyway. My really bad tooth is getting better, bit by bit, and I can only hope it continues to do so. The dentist gave me some more desensitising stuff today, and filled in my other (smaller) cavity.

So, on Monday, the dentist slapped some desensitising stuff on my tooth and told me that it was nothing to do with my filling, and wasn't decay or a crack. He told me it was probably staining, and the pain was due to an exposed nerve which should shrink back up after a few days ( Read more... )

I FINALLY GOT MY TOOTH FIXED. \o/ The dentist drilled away the horrible hurty rotten bits and gave me a filling. It was my second filling, but the first time I ever had an injection in the mouth. Aside from my tooth being a bastard, my birthday was pretty good. :) I was surprised to discover that I can ease the pain of my tooth for a while by smearing thick layers of toothpaste all over it and leaving it there, after Euan recommended I try it.
